A portrait of a US Captain WWII. I have recently watched "Saving private Ryan" and images have been swirling in my head. Inspired by Alexander Beliaev's recent AWESOME work I went on try out something with similar technique. Of course it's nothing close to his work but it's a try. I have found Riven Phoenix's anatomy lessons pretty helpful lately as well... take a look here:
